01 — BE YOURSELF
Come as you are.
You define who you are. We respect your choice to use a label, to change it, or not to use one at all.
A place for every way of being.
Who you love. Who you are. A future where our differences are simply respected. Together, we’re taking the first small step.
Discover our purposeLike a rainbow, gender and sexuality exist in many shades. You don’t have to fit yourself into a label or a box. Whether you feel different or are still figuring things out, you matter just as you are.
imgay.lgbt envisions a society where LGBTQ+ people and allies can learn from one another. We believe everyday understanding starts with curiosity, a conversation, and the willingness to listen.
You are enough, just as you are.01 — BE YOURSELF
You define who you are. We respect your choice to use a label, to change it, or not to use one at all.
02 — STAY CURIOUS
It’s okay not to have all the answers. We keep listening, question our assumptions, and make room to learn.
03 — CARE FOR EACH OTHER
Never share someone’s identity without their consent. We respect privacy, boundaries, and each person’s pace.
Learn, connect, and share. Three ways we hope to make a difference.
LEARN TOGETHER
Exploring gender and sexual diversity together. We’re considering opportunities for learning and dialogue, starting with everyday questions.
Proposed · In preparationBUILD CONNECTIONS
A space to speak freely, or simply to be. We’re exploring ways to create welcoming places for community and connection.
Proposed · In preparationSHARE UNDERSTANDING
Accessible reading and ideas for everyday life. We’re preparing information to help people care for themselves and one another.
Proposed · In preparationYou don’t need to be an expert, or identify as LGBTQ+. Start by learning and rethinking everyday language. A more welcoming world begins in ordinary moments.
Explore gender and sexual diversity, and take a fresh look at what you consider “normal.”
Hear people without assumptions. Let them decide what they want to share.
Use the names people ask you to use, and respect how they describe themselves.
LGBTQ+ includes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning people. The “+” recognizes the many other ways people experience and describe their gender and sexuality.
